What is Zoom Online Conferencing?

Zoom Online Conferencing is a department-endorsed online platform that allows students, teachers, and parents to engage in face to face live video conferences. The ZOOM platform allows teachers to schedule meetings, check-in with individuals, and deliver virtual lessons with the option to record sessions for later viewing. Teachers, as the hosts of the conferences, have full control over what is shared during sessions, and only allow known participants to the class or group using a specific Meeting ID and password. This platform is safe to use and highly resourceful during home learning.
